wow. i walked around manly. i have some of the pics on here. and i went to the blue mountains altho it was kinda cold and cloudy the day i went, but it was so much fun!! and we tried to go the the zoo, gardens and opera house, but it was rainy and cold that day. haha, my indian friend and i are leaving for new zealand on the 1st of dec!! i took a reggaeton workshop last weekend at central, which is kinda african, and it was so much fun!! i traveled all day just to take it and come back! but it was worth it. so i might see some of your friends there, even tho i won't know them. haha.

I've been all over Sydney--Opera House, gardens, the Rocks, a bunch of local markets & festivals etc. Haven't walked the whole bridge yet, or gone to the zoo. I go to Paddy's Market every single week for fresh fruit. I've been to Manly, which is stunning and a place you must see (ferry is $12.40 round trip). And I've been to the Blue Mountains, which were also amazing.
Sydney is great, though I'd love to check out Melbourne. I've been to Canberra: worth skipping.

I'm also headed to NZ, with a German friend, from mid-November to 1 Dec.

I know exactly where that dance studio is. Some friends of mine are talking about taking African dance there over the summer. And I want to take salsa! And learn to surf. There's not enough time in a day (or enough money in my bank account) to do everything!

aww my uncle and cousin live somewhere around there too. yeah, moving to the other side of the planet def taught me a lot. i'm just here studying abroad. i was only supposed to stay for one semester, but then decided to stay for another. i've taken art and french classes here. in sydney i'm going to stay for a few weeks and take dance classes at a place called central studio. they have some cool classes there!! and then i'm going to new zealand in december for 10 days and then back to sydney for new years!! i can't wait to see the fireworks in the harbour!! you're in sydney aren't you?? where are have you been??

I'm from Baltimore, Md (more or less). I'm getting a Master of Sustainable Development, which you can't get in the states. Plus I thought it'd be good to move to the other side of the planet and see what sort of impact that'd have on my personal development.

Are you studying art at Newcastle Uni? What's your plan for Sydney? I hear New Years here is amazing. Should be fun!
